Steeplechase
In addition to breaking and training at our Hydes Md farm location we also work with the occassional Steeplechase or Foxhunting prospect. Located on Mikey Smithwicks old farm (now belonging to Roger Smithwick) we have every schooling fence imaginable at our disposal, and in the past have had much success with starting horses off of the race track on the path to their new carreers as anything from show jumpers to Timber and Hurdle horses.

A phenomial jumper, Bet A Quarter did not have the turn of foot to compete as a Steeplechase horse, but has since been shown very successfully under Rachael Lively, and Tim Maddrix in the Amature Owner Jumper Diviison, and some Mini Prix(Rachael), and the open Jumper Division(Tim Maddrix) at A rated shows in the area.
